We all love the holidays, but they can also be stressful. Buying presents, decorating the house, dealing…oh I mean enjoying the company of in-laws. Let’s admit it; we love family but when everyone comes together for Christmas, we can’t help but get a little Kris Kringle crazy. From our family to yours, here are a few holiday drinks to lift everyone’s spirit, calm the moment, and really bring on the holiday cheer.

Candy Cane Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 shot* of vanilla rum – try using Ole Nassau Light Rum from our Rum Guide! You can read about this rum on page 55 of the guide. Link at the end of the post!
  • 1 shot* of white chocolate liqueur (Godiva is recommended to use)
  • 1 shot* peppermint schnapps
  • Candy Cane for garnish

* 1 shot is 1.5 ounces

Directions

  1. Add all liquid ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain into martini glass.
  3. Shake well and strain into martini glass.
  4. Garnish with candy cane.

Directions
